CHERRY PLAIN STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Cherry Plain. It is a fairly small park with a reported 25 rv sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a Motorhome. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Cherry Plain – instead stop and rest at CHERRY PLAIN STATE PARK.
