CHERRY GLEN is a RV Park in or near the town of Johnston. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a possible 125 spots to park your coach. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your large RV since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Johnston – instead stop and rest at CHERRY GLEN.
