Long Description
CHALK HILLS CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Carney. It is a fairly small park with a listed 25 pads to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your large RV since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. If you ever get near Carney make sure you stop on by the CHALK HILLS CAMPGROUND.

Camped at Chalk Hill Campground July 15th – 20th, 2014. Nice sites with picnic table, fire pit, and electric at all sites. Pit toilets well maintained [depending on other campers of course]. Well groomed hiking trail around the grounds and the Menominee River is across the road. Were the only ones there until Friday night then other sites filled up. Very quiet campgrounds – again depending on other campers that came in for the week-end. Owners stopped with firewood and to meet their campers. They also drive through several times a day so all you need to do is stop them if additional firewood or ice is needed. Enjoyed our time there and plan to return again. Suggestion: more trash barrels throughout the grounds [only have two].
