CHAIN-O-LAKES STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Spring Grove. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a reported 238 sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Rig since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at CHAIN-O-LAKES STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Spring Grove.
