CAPE BRETON HIGHLANDS NATIONAL PARK – CHETICAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Cheticamp. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 201 slots to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your large Class A motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip pina colada in style. Do not just drive by Cheticamp – instead stop and rest at CAPE BRETON HIGHLANDS NATIONAL PARK – CHETICAMPGROUND.
