CANYON CREEK CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Hixon. It is a somewhat small park with a possible 36 spots to park your camper. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a very large camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. If you just cannot get away without a little taste of the internet – do not be alarmed – 802.11 Wireless Internet is at the park. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at CANYON CREEK CAMPGROUND would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Hixon.
