CAMPGROUND BY THE LAKE is a RV Park in or near the town of South Lake Tahoe. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 174 sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your very long camper since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. One of the more civilized services – WiFi – is provided by the owners of the park. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little ole Yeller since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip jack and coke in style. If you ever get near South Lake Tahoe make sure you stop on by the CAMPGROUND BY THE LAKE.
