CAMPERAMA (WEST RIVER) CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Townshend. It is a largish park with a possible 170 rv sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If you are driving a large RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you just cannot get away without a little taste of the internet – do not be alarmed – WiFi is at the park. If your wife or significant other insists on Oprah reruns network be assured, the park offers Cable TV hookups. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at CAMPERAMA (WEST RIVER) CAMPGROUND would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Townshend.
