CAMEL LAKE CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Apalachicola National Forest. It is a super miniscule park with a possible 10 sites to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. Electric hookups are provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip pina colada in style. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Apalachicola National Forest, you might find a great place to stay at CAMEL LAKE CAMPGROUND.
