BRUSHY LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Sallisaw. It is a somewhat small park with a claimed 35 pads to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If you are driving a very long RV rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip gin and tonics in style. If you ever get near Sallisaw make sure you stop on by the BRUSHY LAKE STATE PARK.
