BOWMAN LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Oxford. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a reported 198 rv sites to park your camper. This park has no pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a large Class A. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Mr K9 since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip iced tea in style. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Oxford, give the peeps at BOWMAN LAKE STATE PARK a call.
