BLUE WATER LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Prewitt. It is a somewhat small park with a possible 40 spots to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Do not worry too much about the length of your large RV since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. If you have a tent, you will need to keep it stowed at this RV park as tents are not allowed. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Prewitt – instead stop and rest at BLUE WATER LAKE STATE PARK.
