BLACKHAWK LAKE RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Highland. It is a largish park with a claimed 150 spots to park your RV. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Do not worry too much about the length of your Motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip gin and tonics in style. I am confident that the kind folks at BLACKHAWK LAKE RECREATION AREA would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Highland.
