BIG RIDGE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Maynardville. It is a almost small park with a claimed 50 rv sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. Electric hookups are provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little ole Furr Ball since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. If you ever get near Maynardville make sure you stop on by the BIG RIDGE STATE PARK.
