BIG BEND FAMILY CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Standish. It is a largish park with a listed 150 sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Your 45 footer should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. Electric hookups are provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. If you ever get near Standish make sure you stop on by the BIG BEND FAMILY CAMPGROUND.
