BEAVER DAM STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Plainview. It is a small park with a reported 59 pads to park your RV. This park has no pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Rig since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Paws since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip lemonade in style. If you ever get near Plainview make sure you stop on by the BEAVER DAM STATE PARK.
