BAYOU SEGNETTE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Westwego. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a reported 100 pads to park your recreational vehicle. This park has no pull thru sites. If you are driving a very long RV rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without Wireless Internet and this park has it so that is a good thing. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. This is the one park you might want to leave behind Sparky since it is not really a pro-animal park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Westwego, you might find a great place to stay at BAYOU SEGNETTE STATE PARK.
