From Bayou Jim’s themselves!: Nice Write up for your RV Park: Great place to camp if you like to fish.  Great people, small campground with full hookups (30 & 50 amp), fishing pier, access to Elmer’s Island where you can drive on the beach for some excellent surf fishing.

If you are like shopping, dining, casinos, etc. this place if probably not for you.  This is a rustic fishing camp with 6-8 RV sites, rather tightly spaced.  Excellent fishing right in the park.

RV52.com Standard Writeup: BAYOU JIMS RV PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Grand Isle. It is a super miniscule park with a claimed 6 rv sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your very long camper since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. If you just cannot get away without a little taste of the internet – do not be alarmed – 802.11 Wireless Internet is at the park. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you have a tent, you will need to keep it stowed at this RV park as tents are not allowed. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Grand Isle, you might find a great place to stay at BAYOU JIMS RV PARK.
