BATTLE RUN CAMPGROUND (COE) is a RV Park in or near the town of Summersville. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a claimed 117 rv sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a mansion on wheels. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Indications are that this park is not particularly animal friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip iced tea in style. I am confident that the kind folks at BATTLE RUN CAMPGROUND (COE) would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Summersville.
