BALLARDS RV PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Carthage. It is a fairly small park with a listed 30 slots to park your camper. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a large Class A. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. If you just cannot get away without a little taste of the internet – do not be alarmed – 802.11 Wireless Internet is at the park. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at BALLARDS RV PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Carthage.
