BAHIA HONDA STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Big Pine Key. It is a almost small park with a reported 48 spots to park your coach. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If you are driving a very long RV rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little ole Furr Ball since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip gin and tonics in style. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Big Pine Key, give the peeps at BAHIA HONDA STATE PARK a call.
