ASHUELOT RIVER CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Swanzey. It is a small to medium park with a possible 70 rv sites to park your camper. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. We are not sure that your very long camper can fit comfortably so please call ahead. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive.
