ASHEVILLE EAST KOA is a RV Park in or near the town of Swannanoa. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a reported 175 rv sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If you are driving a Motorhome, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Sewer connections are provided. One of the more civilized services – 802.11 WiFi – is provided by the owners of the park. If your wife or significant other insists on The Food Network network be assured, the park offers Cable TV hookups. Go ahead and bring along little Sparky since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If getting in a pool is your thing then you are in luck at this park – it has pool access. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip pina colada in style.
