ALABASTER CAVERNS STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Freedom. It is a fairly small park with a listed 22 rv sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a Motorhome. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at ALABASTER CAVERNS STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Freedom.
