Dick’s is no more. Dick passed away in 2018 and his museum was closed at the end of the year.

If you are ever in the San Marcos (Central Texas – anywhere near Austin, San Antonio, Houston (not far really)) *AND* you have a even a tiny taste for the nostalgic… stop and see Dick’s Classic Car Garage and Museum.

I’ll put pictures of the cars on display… but there is NO WAY UNDER THE SUN that I can ever give the same experience through pictures as being there.

So… enjoy the pics… Put comments on this page… but GO in person. It is worth every minute. I’ll be honest, while going through the displays they were so impressive that I actually had tears.

The story behind the Tucker… It is nothing short of breathtaking. I actually thought the Tucker was the top of the show, but it wasn’t. They had a series of older cars called the Cords that once you see them, you won’t believe such a thing of beauty was created in the USA – not that we can’t but no one talks about the non-Fords really.

There is also a Chysler that was purpose build for the King and Queen of England.

Just go.
