RATHTREVOR BEACH PROVINCIAL PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Parksville. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a reported 199 slots to park your camper. This park has no pull thru sites. If you are driving a large Class A motorhome, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. We do not believe the park has electric hookups. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip root beer float in style. Do not just drive by Parksville – instead stop and rest at RATHTREVOR BEACH PROVINCIAL PARK.
