LOST MAPLES STATE NATURAL AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Vanderpool. It is a fairly small park with a listed 30 sites to park your RV. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Do not worry too much about the length of your very long camper since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip iced tea in style. I am confident that the kind folks at LOST MAPLES STATE NATURAL AREA would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Vanderpool.
