LOCKHART STATE PARK

LOCKHART STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Lockhart. It is a very small park with a reported 20 slots to park your camper. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Your large RV should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Sewer connections are provided. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Lockhart, you might find a great place to stay at LOCKHART STATE PARK.
