HILLSBOROUGH RIVER STATE PARK

HILLSBOROUGH RIVER STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Thonotosassa. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a reported 114 rv sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your very long camper since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here.
