HIGH PLAINS CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Gillette. It is a small to medium park with a listed 65 rv sites to park your RV. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your mansion on wheels since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Gillette, you might find a great place to stay at HIGH PLAINS CAMPGROUND.
