BUTTLE LAKE CAMPGROUND, STRATHCONA PROVINCIAL PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Campbell River. It is a medium park with a possible 85 sites to park your coach. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. If you are driving a Big Rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. We do not believe the park has electric hookups. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little ole Furr Ball since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at BUTTLE LAKE CAMPGROUND, STRATHCONA PROVINCIAL PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Campbell River.
