  • This is a 17 character field that identifies your RV.
  • Please enter a number from 1910 to 2020.
  • This would be like a series of product from a manufacturer. For Jayco, it might be Jay Feather, or Jay Flight. For a Monaco, it might be Diplomat, or Dynasty. For Redwood, it might be Redwood or Sequioa.

  • Example: 32QBQS, 29FKSS, 31BD, 399BHS. This is just the number. The SERIES is the Brand or Line just above.
  • This is the manufacturer of the RV that is likely to be registered on the VIN or your title. It would be Jayco or Dutchmen. Even though Dutchmen is owned by Thor, Thor is a holding company so you would still say Dutchmen. Unless it is a Thor branded/manufactured motor coach. So generally, you wouldn't see Forest River show up because that is a holding company - instead you would select Sandpiper, for example. Hope this helps.
Cash and Wire Transfer are the preferred payment methods. If you accept Cashiers Check or Personal Check you MUST wait for the checks to clear and your bank to deposit the money into your account. Otherwise, you possibly will be out the RV and the money with very little recourse. Potentially you can utilize legal means, but you will be throwing good money after bad - absolutely no fun.
  • Many people think that by limiting disclosure they might be getting away with something. But that destroys trust and destroys the fabric of our society. Don't be one of those people. Especially when you are doing a "distance" transaction. Be up front and tell people what things do not work. Just use regular language here. If there is nothing, simply say, all systems are 100% working. When the sales contract is generated, we'll put "to the best of my knowledge" so that the statement is completely honest.
I think a good statement around the condition of the RV is very useful. I won't make it a required item for this sales contract, but again, I think the use of this shows a level of integrity that is far and above what most people normally do.
