B.J. I had a house flood so I can appreciate what you are going through. Make sure you get a good inventor list to the insurance. Even if you think something is OK, you may want to list it. We had things we thought would be OK only and found out later that they were not. If it got wet, it is suspect. Good luck!

The barn is a total loss; roof gone, 48′ cantilever gone, and only 2 1/2 walls still standing albeit at odd angles. I have been inventorying the contents and making contacts to get re-construction set up. I am trying to get all this done before Christmas, but have come to the decision that I am not going to rush and end up with inferior construction. Pretty much everything in the barn that is susceptible to water is ruined, only had about 7″ of rain after the roof was gone. I have tried to move what I can into a protected environment except for some items, log splitter that is under debris and a leaning wall, etc. Time will tell. B.J.

If you recall seeing me walking really early in the morning at the few Rallies we attended – for the same reason, although my numbers were/are lower…..In the 5 years plus years I have had this I have learned to beat Type II takes BOTH diet and exercise. Doing one with out the other will only get you half way there. Start out slow and build up. Not to discourage you – but after a while of being good, it can be easy to slip…be aware of that my friend. I lost 75 lbs but after 2 years of keeping it off, it started to come back – due to injury and I couldn’t walk as much – then I started eating junk again…so now I’ve gained back about 50.

You can do this, Good Luck!!

I the past the campground provided the Turkey and (Dressing Gravy or something), Guest provided a side dish or desert

On the food subject it was suggested by a young Old Fella that we should have Brats and sauerkraut for dinner one night (My fault for posting pictures on Facebook)
I will bring the Brats and Sauerkraut (there is a great German sausage factory in Tulsa) and even people who don’t like Kraut like my grandmother recipe

    If you don’t have any 2 x 3 flags, we’d take a 3 x 5 one.

Linda: With that art work, and the dancer, you might wait until after the series and then see if you could market the Ts. Who knows, might be the shirt to get you a new CC in the drive

It is going to be interesting tomorrow night — wondering how much traffic will be reduced around here (or for that matter most places close to KC) as the game starts.

Lee and Leanne: I too thought you had your CC back from the hospital. Hope all goes well and you get it back soon.

Everyone: Be safe and enjoy this great weather. Looks like the majority of the North American Continent is enjoying great weather – even the southwest where it appears to be getting some much needed rain. Hopefully it is slow, steady, and soaks into the ground.
