Laverne – thanks for the reply. Because my memory is about shot, please try and remind me before the TX rally and if I still have it I will bring it.

Must have been drizzling in KC last night — saw folks with their ‘Rally Towels’ covering their heads, and most importantly for us, the Royals won.

BJ – Hope the storm that went through here last night misses you – not much rain but I know every little bit hurts your efforts to get stuff cleaned up and back under cover. Best on a speedy cleanup and return to normal life.

Lake Shasta looks more like an over grown creek. It is going to take a lot of rain to get that lake back to pool level.

If you still have it at next year’s rally in Kerrville, we would be interested in it. Since we couldn’t get it before then, it doesn’t seem fair to ask you to hold on to it that long if you can sell it before then.

Today we drove I-5 to Yreka, Ca. On the way we passed Elk Grove, we thought about you Bob & Sue (Foothill).

    Hey Mike,

Thanks for posting the links. But the basic operating procedures link is broken – returns a “404 Not Found” message.

David K., your really trying my patience, young man. I’m trying to be good with my diet and diabetes, and here you go spouting off about kraut and bratwurst. I mean, that’s just plain evil, you hear me…..EVIL. And your getting SENF mustard, right? (Düsseldorf). =D>” title=”Applause” /><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href=greentow — Wed Oct 22, 2014 9:01 am

Any of you former navy personnel that may have served on the USS Constellation CV-64 a kitty hawk class carrier, is being towed to Brownsville TX from Bremerton, WA and going around the cape. You can follow its travels in the following blog. You can also find info by googling its Tug the Corbin Foss. It’s presently off of Valparaiso, Chili

Harlan & Linda, we will be heading out the 1st and will be in Weslaco the next day. Leisure World is centrally located in the RGV and is a nice park. I will check into the availability of RV spots when we get there. If something is available, I will email you. Another option is to google RGV RV parks. There are about 500 parks in the valley so there are plenty of possibilities to choose from. I know that some Creekers have stayed at Llano Grande in Mercedes. That is in the upper price range but does have very nice facilities. Nars & Beth have stayed at Paradise South in Weslaco. That is mid range in price and amenities. As a suggestion, try to stay somewherebetween McAllen on the west and Harlingen on the east. That puts you in mid valley. Everything, except Brownsville and Padre Island would be within 20 to 25 miles. Brownsville would be about 45 miles and Padre about 55 miles away. Hopefully we will see you down there.
