Driving north out of Wimberley we ran across the Shady Oaks RV Resort. We weren’t even trying to intentionally make any video rv park reviews in Texas this time! This was a neat treat for a video rv park review because we love Wimberley and this was only about 2 miles out of town. We had to chuckle as the RV park looked like it has a little bar attached to it. That is a first for us – well second – Koyote in Medina had one, but it was a biker place so that makes more sense. If you don’t know much about Texas or Wimberley, this is a GREAT location for exploring the Texas Hill Country. Nearby towns are Fredericksburg, Kerrville, Austin, San Antonio, Blanco, Boerne and other neat little places. This was a cute little park and it looked so peaceful.
