Canyon Trail RV Park is located on I-35 near San Marcos Texas. This looks to be a very clean and neat RV Park well situated so that you can explore all the neatest areas in Texas. It is close to Schlitterbahn water park in New Braunfels. It is an easy drive to the southern part of the Texas Hill country (Boerne, Wimberley, Fredericksburg, Gruene). You can zip up to Austin very easily or visit a kid at Texas State University. You are close to San Antonio so you can visit the Alamo or see the races at Retama Park. Houston is within a short 3 hour drive and the coast (Corpus Christi) isn’t a big hike either. This is a good place for a base of operations for your Texas exploits.

Also VERY close to this park is the Canyon Lake area which might be how it got its name. I don’t know, I only speculate.
