Mean to me, mean to my mother, mean = no business

As a blogger, I don’t want to be too quick to DISS a business, but sometimes…

Recently, I listed an RV for my neighbor on RVTrader.com. I have had a good response with them ( so far ). One of the “leads” though was from a company called rvregistry .com (I have to separate the .com from the name so they get NO credit for a link as they do not deserve it).

This was actually a CALL from a high pressure style calling center, probably in Omaha Nebraska. When I told him I was happy with RVTrader, he got really mouthy ( I think his name might have been Vince? ) with me – insinuating that I was stupid. I might be stupid, but I’m not sure that rvregistry is the worldwide “deemer” of stupid and smart. I told him that I was done here.

The other sad part was that he said that they had people wanting to buy my RV. I’m thinking if that was the case, perhaps he ought to take a cut when it sells rather than put all the risk on me.

Well anyway, if they treat me poorly, they will treat other people poorly too. I’m originally from Nebraska, and so especially disconcerting for me was such bad mouthed manners from an instate business.

NOTE : They have a few complaints from BBB – which I think stem from high pressure sales techniques. I’m absolutely sure they probably do not really help sell your RV.

My advice : Stay clear.
