TIMBER RIDGE CAMPGROUND AND NORDIC CENTER is a RV Park in or near the town of Traverse City. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a possible 250 sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If you are driving a very long RV rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. One of the more civilized services – 802.11 Wireless Internet – is provided by the owners of the park. You will not have to miss the big game since Cable TV is part of this parks offering. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. If getting in a pool is your thing then you are in luck at this park – it has pool access. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Traverse City – instead stop and rest at TIMBER RIDGE CAMPGROUND AND NORDIC CENTER.
