Long Description

SAM OWEN is a RV Park in or near the town of Hope. It is a mostly medium park with a listed 80 pads to park your RV. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If you are driving a very large camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at SAM OWEN would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Hope.
