LARRY AND PENNY THOMPSON PARK AND CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Miami. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 240 rv sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a large RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Bring your swim trunks this park has access to a pool. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Miami, give the peeps at LARRY AND PENNY THOMPSON PARK AND CAMPGROUND a call.
