Long Description

LAKEWOOD CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Swanton. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a listed 270 rv sites to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. We are not sure that your very long camper can fit comfortably so please call ahead. No need for a generator since the park has electric. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Bring your skivvies this park has access to a pool. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Swanton, give the peeps at LAKEWOOD CAMPGROUND a call.
