LAKE GUNTERSVILLE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Guntersville. It is a somewhat large park with a claimed 364 rv sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a large Class A, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Guntersville – instead stop and rest at LAKE GUNTERSVILLE STATE PARK.
