Long Description

GOOSE ISLAND STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Rockport. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a reported 127 pads to park your camper. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Rig since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. One of the more civilized services – Wireless Internet – is provided by the owners of the park. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at GOOSE ISLAND STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Rockport.
