FORT RICHARDSON STATE HISTORICAL PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Jacksboro. It is a small park with a reported 60 rv sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. If you are driving a Big Daddy RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Sewer connections are provided. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at FORT RICHARDSON STATE HISTORICAL PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Jacksboro.
