This ACA P-15 siren sits atop a 60 foot pole at the Onapa RV Park 3 miles south of Checotah OK. It is a Privately owned and operated siren, and is used to serve the RV Park and the surrounding community of Onapa ( Where Carrie Underwood's parents live ). The siren is tested on the first Saturday of each month at noon. The first 1 minute test is an alert signal for severe thunderstorm warnings & the second test is a 1 minute attack signal for tornado warnings. The owner of the park is a skywarn spotter and storm chaser for the National Weather Service and has over 20 years experience. And YES that is a Federal STH-10 siren on the ground... to be donated to a part of the community that is not served by the ACA P-15.

This is the park where me and my biker girl Jen stayed in Tombstone, AZ. The owner is really nice and very helpful. We stayed in a tent and still had wireless internet in her park. I would suggest staying here if you visit Tombstone, AZ. She is very knowledgable and a vry decent human being. Tell her we said hi, if you make it to her area.
