- Description
- Yellowstone's Edge RV Park is located along the beautiful Yellowstone River. From Livingston, Hwy 89 South -- the direct route to the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park - is absolutely the most picturesque drive one can find in any season. The little western town of Emigrant lies a few miles to the south of Yellowstone's Edge RV Park. Spectacular Emigrant Peak, for which the town was named, stands over the valley...and it doesn't get much better than this. Yellowstone's Edge RV Park is right there for vacationers to soak it all in. Customers are greeted with a Montana Western Hospitality that is hard to match. This hospitality continues to extend to those who join in around the evening campfire at the front of the office. There are a variety of site choices -- along the river -- or a little further back from the water. All sites appear to have awesome views of the river and mountains. The building that houses the laundry, game room and restrooms is sparkling clean. Reservations are recommended as this is a popular RVing & camping spot located so near Yellowstone National Park. Folks make their reservation for one night -- but often extend their stay -- and you may do the same to explore the sights, hike, float your boat, fish the Blue Ribbon waters, or just relax by the river. Welcome to the West! For more details on this park go to: www.woodalls.com

- Description
- Fairmont RV Park, located between two historic cities - Anaconda and Butte, MT, is an easy off/on I-90 (Exit 211). Much of the lure of this part of the country is the Spirit of the American West. The Anaconda/Philipsburg area, the core of the Pintler Scenic Route, is blessed with year 'round recreation opportunities, scenic splendor, and plenty of history. Philipsburg, only 30 miles from Fairmont RV Park, was founded in 1886 as a trading center. It has a beautifully restored street front, and the Sweet Palace is "a must" -- it's an unbelievably huge Victorian Confectionary. Fishing in Montana's big rivers is an angler's dream; Rockhouds search for sapphires, garnets, crystals, quartz & amethyst. Mining history means untold numbers of Ghost towns. Anaconda, known for smelting copper for more than a century, is today a small town of friendly folks. Historical homes built in the 1880's still stand tall with architectural beauty that is sure to bring the cameras out of the cases. The huge brick smokestack, constructed in 1918, stands on a small hill & looms a total of 1000 ft. above Anaconda. Today the site of that smelter is the location of the nationally known18-hole Old Works Golf Course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Old # l Trolley stops at the Butte Visitor's Center for daily tours of historical Butte. Fairmont RV Park is a great central location to hang your hat while sightseeing the area. There's so much to see and do that more than one night is needed before moving on ...
