We’ve put together a 23-step list on how to hitch your travel trailer. This is the sequence that we go through every time we get ready to take our RV on the road. There may be a few items that you won’t have to do like take in your slides if you don’t have any, but for the most part, everything else should apply.
1) Close-up the RV windows and stow the equipment
2) Clean debris off of the slide tops
3) Bring the slides in
4) Bring the awning in
