A family with ONE kid could actually live in the RV. The 2nd slide allows the bunkhouse to have some nice space. For 2 kids or more, then I would say that this would be a GREAT vacation rig, and even for extended vacations.

I could argue that the bunkhouse is arranged such that it could make a great “office” area if you wanted to use the unit as a traveling office rig and perhaps you were a couple too.

All in all a very versatile RV. The Outdoor Kitchen is a great touch, and really makes me think the best use of this RV is for those family vacations in the summer!

The DISTINGUISHING features ( here is a list of pretty standard items for a travel trailer ) for this trailer are :

  • TWO slide outs
  • The DS I believe stands for Double Slide.
  • Bunkhouse
  • Outdoor Kitchen

RV Review – Dutchmen Lite 257RBGS Travel Trailer 2012

Nice little single person full-timer RV

If you’re a single guy (or gal) and you have a simple life without lots of stuff, then this trailer might make lots of sense for you. I don’t think two people could live in this except for short vacations, but for one person without lots of baggage, this would sure make for a very nice little living space for the minimalist lifestyle.

As far as hunting, fishing, and camping trips, this would be great for families, as long as you know you’ll have to fold down the table for the extra bed. I think anything past 1 or 2 extra kids would be a bit trying. But I think for short summer vacation trips this would make a great little unit and you could pull it with a F150.

The DISTINGUISHING features ( here is a list of pretty standard items for a travel trailer ) for this trailer are :

  • ONE smaller slide out ( makes the unit very light )
  • The GS I believe stands for Galley Slide. This a really convenient thing to slide out to make extra room.
  • Rear Bathroom
