Try to see the forest for the trees!

Sheri recently found an article, actually three pictures, which we publish here with links back to the blog where we found them. We’re always looking for these things because as we published earlier, we’re looking to build an “outdoor house” concept. Crazy to many, but we think it is timely, efficient with natural resources, and will be downright fun.

So you can imagine our interest when we saw this article on a house and trailer combination. Very unconventional, but we loved the interior picture which looked very cozy.

They had some pictures on their blog which we’ll LINK TO (so that the photographer can get proper credit and traffic) but we want to show you a couple of the views.

In this view, I want to point out the tanks. In Travis County Texas, where we live, you can capture GRAY water into a tank and as long as you don’t SPRAY it into the air, you can use it for gardening and washing cars and other things like that. You can find the Texas rules here (look for GRAY Water). This guy is even capturing the rain water. Not as exciting in a TINY house, but still trying to do the right thing!

But the next picture is the neat picture. The interior. Sheri and I want to be able to pull our RV in and out so we won’t do this, but it sure was INTERESTING!!!
