One of the neat things we did last fall when we stayed in Wimberley Texas with our RV was to visit Pioneer Town. We were the only people there and it looked closed so we just walked through, but I believe that several times a year they have a nice crowd and very interesting live exhibits.
So you can get a sense of it, we stood on the middle intersection and took a 360 degree view :
